What is the best gentle of plant to own contained by slack baskets within WINDY West Texas? I had the most wonderful Petunias hanging on my fund patio,...

I had the most wonderful Petunias hanging on my fund patio, watered them, talk to them, fertilized them and the wind time them up bad. They looked doomed to failure but I thought they might make it. Then Thursday we have another horrible dirt storm and they are dried out and no longer revivable. I just want my porch to be pretty with flowers (the ones contained by the pots on the patio are doing in good health, but the hanging baskets did not produce it)
Answers:    Well, after living in San Angelo for the recent past five years until last year, and aggression dust storms, tumbleweeds, 30 - 50 mph gusts constantly; and after replacing them again & again. the solution I found was to buy some sturdy PLASTIC VINES & FLOWERS, anchored contained by green styrofoam balls, weighted near lead within the bottom of the basket, and wired within place with floral telecommunication. All it takes is a brief hose-down after a dust storm, and they look approaching new.
Umm devout question. I live contained by Michigan and our weather is crappy most of the year...heck I never know when it is summer or winter here. But, I guess I would just capture a Chia pet..and some of your tumbleweeds to call your sagging plant. I kill every flowering picnic basket I get. I around give up. But, I can grow come connote fake flowers they seem to be to be in bloom almost adjectives of the time. And man I can grow some pretty ones and not even have to marine them..they are some sturdy suckers. I wish you luck..but I ponder tumbleweeds might be kinda nice.
