Answers:    I do this a lot. Here's how. Choose a tough looking leaf beside at least a one inch stem. Pinch the palm leaf off partially way down the stem. Use the eraser cessation of a pencil to poke a hole into the soil equal to the length of the stem. Put stem into hole and press soil around stem AND underneath of leaf. Root stimulating products are not needed. Water plant as needed by using a spoon to carefully drip river around base of palm leaf. The leaf does not similar to to get drizzling. Put the plant in a sunny fanlight. Do not cover it. Water once daily ( or smaller number if soggy ) and be patient. This will purloin much time, but it works great. You will see baby leaves set off to grow from the base of the behind the times leaf. I do not use fancy soil or fuss in the region of cutting style and my plants enjoy always grown fine.
I come across to have luck by placing the fern in sea until roots show and then place it surrounded by a pot with potting soil. You can also place it surrounded by a pot and water it until it roots. Both ways hold worked for me.
