What is sandy soil??
Answers: Soil that doesn't hold moisture very well. I hold sandy soil and it's better than clay soil but you have to constantly add sea and nutrients to the soil. To tell if that is what you enjoy. If it crumbles in your hand when it is damp or is "like sand" when it is dry then you hold sandy soil. A lot of plants prefer it thought so its not that bad of a deal.
Fine crumbly soil lacking a lot of organic event in it that doesn't hold water okay. If you have sandy soil and want to improve it, you can work deceased leaves or other organic materials into it (compost would be great); those will hold onto water better and maintain the soil from drying out as fast. Some plants grow better in sandy soils, so if you're gardening contained by it and want to improve it, check what's best for your plants before accumulation stuff.
