I don¡¯t know what my plant is; I got her as a adjectives from a jumble sale.
She is rubber plant, I suppose. With tiger stripes leaves and with plant buds(i don¡¯t know what else to name them) on the end of the leaves which when drop bad form new plants. Now she have started to flower, she has never done this in the past; the flowers are like bluebells merely there are lilac.
Any thinking?

Answers:    The description sounds like "Mother of thousands"(Sorry,can't recollect the botanical name).This has leaves similar to the rubber plant,near leaflets on the edges which root as you describe.
The flowers aren't particularly attractive,"Mother of thousands" is grown as a modernism.
Later;Just had a look at your pic.Fairly sure it's as I described,the nucleus spike being the flower stem. :-)
