Around the edges of the peony leaves it looks like someone took pinking shears to them. They are being ate by something. What is it and how do I stop it?
Answers: Maybe a caterpiller of some type, best to use sevendust or other agent for these critters. My plants own been suffering too this year, not sure why it seems to be worse than the closing few years.
That's strange, mine too. Although I have been catching My cat gnaw at my iris, day lilies, and dahlias. Peonies are supposed to be left alone by bugs except for ants (they don't impair the plant though). I wonder if it's My cat eating these too? Sorry I couldn't help much, but possibly a cat?
