DEFINATION-
There are only eight species of Baobab, one from continental Africa, six endemic to the island of Madagascar, and one from Australia. Our christen and logo are based on the African Baobab tree (Adansonia digitata). Symbolic of the continent itself, the Baobab is also prearranged as the Tree of Life because mature trees can create their own ecosystem providing shelter, food and hose for both animals and humans in the African savanna. 1 The seeds are rich within protein and may be eaten fresh, or roasted and ground into a coffee-substitute. They are also used to produce an antidote for arrow poison;
2 The fruit hold a vitamin C content nearly six-times that of an orange and the pulp is commonly used in baking. When mixed next to water it produces an vitality drink similar to lemonade that is popular among children and sometimes taken to relieve frenzy and treat malaria;
3 The leaves are rich in calcium and are commonly eat fresh as a relish or served as a spinach soup. They are also reported to have anti-inflammatory properties;
4 The cork-like yelp is occasionally used to produce beer or tea. It is also a fire resistant material;

WHEN THEY DIE-
When Baobabs die, they simple rot from the inside out next suddenly collapse leaving an inconspicuous mass of fibers. It is for this reason that the San Bushmen of the Kalahari believe the trees don¡¯t die at adjectives, but instead just simply disappear as if by illusion. At one time it was believed that Baobabs be in difficulty of becoming extinct - this was beforehand botanists realized that youthful Baobabs don¡¯t look anything like the full-grown trees.
