What sort of tree is this? I have save a poor little bonsai tree from Homebase, but...

I have save a poor little bonsai tree from Homebase, but I have no conception what type it is (because they didn't have a sign on it). I want to care for it... but I don't know where on earth to start! Does anyone know from these images what type of tree it is?

at hand

As you mentioned, bonsai is NOT simply bonsai. There are indoor and outdoor plants and they DO require different care despite what you may hear elsewhere. Have a look at this site and it will show pictures you can peruse and share meticulousness instructions.

Answers:    Hi Christie. Well done on saving that poor bonsai from Homebase, in a minute you might want to get yourself down to my local B&Q, there's a bonsai which wishes saving in that too. lol I usually do that with orchids.. Looks similar to you've got a nice one within though...I've seen them within far worse condition.

Saying that...I'm trying to identify it. I'm the same as you...I close to to know what orchid or other plant I get when the sticky label is missing.

Judging by the leaves and the ruined/old effect on the bark and also the roots protruding out..looks approaching a Serissa Foetida bonsai...also known as the "Tree of a Thousand Stars" because they produce lots of little white flowers. I'm pretty sure it's this one.

By the agency, you did well to ask what form it is...cos every one is unique contained by which way you should exactness for it.

These websites might help you:

And if you Google "SERISSA FOETIDA" you should bring lots of information.

I wish you luck near your mini-tree :)

Edit: I'll just attach that if you do a Google image rummage through for the tree you might get trees which look a bit different...but if you delve further you should procure trees which look very similar to yours. Also the certainty that these tress are widespread contained by garden centres across Europe and that Homebase does flog this bonsai.

Ok sorry...back again. I'm 100 per cent sure your bonsai is a Serissa Foetida. I found a picture of one which is transposable to yours:
