they are grayish brown and they are mostly in the soil. my plant is a peace lilly if that help at all. please comfort. i'm not sure how long my plant can live with them!
Sounds like mealy bugs to me.
It is not glib to get rid of them. You will enjoy to work at it.
Spray the plant down with a solution of mild dish soap (palmolive is preferable) and thaw out water once a week. If after a couple of weeks you still own the bug they I would transplant it into new soil and verbs with the spraying for a couple more weeks. Eventually they will disappear.
Be painstaking though - if you have mealy bugs contained by one plant you may have them within all your plants.
Alot of bugs are grayish brown, and they are in the soil.
Most adjectives are moth grubs (catepilar like).
Answers: Are they possibly sow bugs, or pill bugs, also specified as rolly poly bugs?

Fungus gnats, most possible . Let the soil get semi-dry , between waterings . If this is a problem for the plant, put it surrounded by less lantern , while it's dry .
