Answers: Go for something surrounded by a complementary shape and color. Try marigolds, snapdragons etc. Avoid anything that looks to similar to your daisies. For added interest, try some tall grass or a trailing ivy within your planter too!
For planters, the rule is that you need thrillers, spillers and fillers. Your daisies can be your thrillers, you can give something light and airy approaching asparagus fern for your filler, and for spillers you can add variegated ivy, creeping jenny, sweet potato vine or vinca vine to tumble over the edges. Wave petunias are great for containers that take enough sun -- hot pink is other good!. Add a spike for rank.
