Answers:    Any flammable solution will work. Kerosene, rubbing alcohol, some old cologne you hatred and want to get rid of. Even gasoline but I would be terribly careful if you shift that route.

Look under your sink for anything that have a flammable caution and it will work.

you can purchase oil lamp oil at the dollar common / family dollar stores. costs around $2.00 for a quart size bottle. this burns slow even so very effectively. it's contained by the candle aisle. hope this helps. GO BUCKS!!!
