If you're planting pumpkin seed you usually will plant several together in one hole. When they've come up several inches is the time to slim them out. Take out the smaller, weaker looking sprouts and leave the strongest looking one. If you're planting something smaller approaching a row of carrots you plant them right contained by a row close together and then when they sprout up you verbs up the sprouts and have respectively carrot you leave a couple of inches apart. Seeds for the most piece are cheap and all of them don't germinate. So you don't hold big gaps contained by a row from planting one here and one a foot away and so on you plant them close together.
Removing the extra seedling (thinning) seems uncontrolled to many gardeners, especially exotic gardeners. However, when the majority of seeds germinate and the seedling survive, the plants become crowded.
Leaving the plants spaced too closely together reduces yield, makes the plants more susceptible to disease, and mostly starves the plants for water and nutrients.
In the thinning process, try to let go the strongest seedlings and remove excess plants next to a hoe, rake, or your fingers. Where seedlings are impressively close together and pulling disturbs the roots of the remaining plants, pinch out or cut the excess plants. Seedlings of some vegetables, if carefully removed during thinning, can be transplanted and used to teem in pointless places, to expand your planting, or be shared with other gardeners.
Answers: when you plant seeds one usually plants rather a few because they may not all germinate. So you increase the probability of getting plants.
however if when they start growing there are roo plentiful in the pot you will be crowding them and none will grow strong.
so you can do one of 2 things.
cut or verbs some of them out thereby sacrificing the ones you don't necessitate and keeping one or 2 in the pot ( depending on the size of the pot)
or
meticulously removing them and repotting them so as to give everyone room but not getting rid of any. if you do this you have need of to be very alert so as not to damage them.
