I have a push lawnmower which i replaced the spark plug. I own pulled the plug and left it connected and pulled the rope to see if i be getting any spark at all. When doing this nought happens.. I own heard that here is something to do with some magnets that are are the fly joystick that may need cleaning.. Also it have one of those blade engager safety handle. I have be told there could be an issue near that but i'm unsure what kind of issue that would be or what to really even look at.. Used it roughly speaking 2 months ago without an issue... When to start it up to mulch a few leaves and nil.
Answers: Only one way to find out. appropriate off the engine housing look at the magnetos if they are dull and rusty looking use some #0000 steel wool or fine grit sand rag or that jewlers sand cloth.
Buff off any corrosion and after check it again. It doesn't hurt to do that at least once a year anyway.

It's pretty rare for the magnets to take so corroded they don't work unless you keep the point outside all the time. I'd be looking more closely at the sanctuary switch. Often the cable stretches out to the point it won't fully engage the switch. Pull the pedal back consequently reach down and see if you can verbs the lever the cable it connected to. If you can still pull it spinal column more than a 1/16 of in inch or so it could be the problem.
