I bought some Datura pods (she said they were moonflowers, they're not, they're moon lillies) finishing weekend. They are still green and I'm not quite sure what to do beside them. How do I store them until Spring? Can I start them early? I live contained by Kansas so we won't hit frost until November or so. Any help gardeners?
Answers: I'd influence let them dry out until they split and interested by themselves. Take the seeds out (they are in reality quite approaching the seeds of their relative the bell pepper) and store them surrounded by a dry place until Spring.
Remember that the seeds are poisonous, so don't hand down them where a pet (or child) might find and put away them!
