I sprayed with a "undisruptive for edible plants" spray, but I still own another one today with "bug holes"
Sprinkle cayenne pepper on them. It won't hurt the plants.

I just sprayed my artichokes next to some neem oil spray, supposed to be risk-free. However, my plants are not happy as the spray included some filling duty chemicals.

Anyway, i would give it a few days and river your plants vigorously to give a hand them get over shock. You may entail to do a second batch of spray within about 7 days. I also reccomend that you try to spray past its sell-by date your plant with plain hoary water between in a minute and your next chemical spray.

If the pests come rear legs to my plant, I will pray them with a muxture of hot pepper and garlic steeped (like a tea).
Answers:    Small holes are frequently cause by "flea beetles", hard to see tiny black beetle. Send me an email with a better description of hole size, or anything close to ragged tear. Slugs prefer to eat the unresponsive material so they would not do a hole but live on dead thing. Some nutrient deficiencies might mimic a bug hole and they can be strong to decipher. Low potassium make smallish brown spots that "drop out". Give me a hollar.
