I bought a 10 gallon tank and i hold 7 small goldfish in nearby right now but i dont plan on keeping the goldfish , i want to take some tropical fish and get rid of the goldfish. My reservoir has a 50W wishy-washy, and a filter and i have some blue gravel at the bottom. I am loooking for some undemanding to take watchfulness of plants. Can someone recommend some for me. I would like to achieve these plants in beforehand i add the tropical fish. Another cross-question i have is, when i include the plants do i drain the water, put in the substrate layer if i have need of one...then affix clean fresh wet again?...I also have be looking on ebay for live aquarium plants and i found some great deals. Can someone narrate me if these plants are any good and unproblematic to take perfectionism off? i am looking for plants which require no substrate layer if i can find some...i know there are some plants which newly grow in the dampen and all you own to do is ancor them to a rock or drift wood/gravel

Answers: I don't know about adjectives of those except the crypt that is an uncomplicated plant to care for. I own never used a special substrate for any of my plants. I purchased 'bulbs' from Walmart and Petco. THey are inexpensive and mostly hardy. You simply plop them in the river and after a day or so they soak up plenty water and sink to the bottom. Their roots will stir into the gravel to anchor them or you can do it yourself if you have a indubitable loc in mind. Just be sure to solely bury them 'halfway'. They should be poking out a bit. You can buy lots of plants from you local Petco or Petsmart. THey are not expensive either..going on for $2-$4 each. I close to Java Fern because it is sooo easy. And does capably even in poor conditions.
Here's some of mine:
