my dog came within from outside and had some kindly of black beetle looking bug on his back. it have a bright red almost orange leader and some of it's legs and part of it's underside where on earth the same color. my sister insisted that i snuff out it but i refused and get it onto a piece of cardboard a flung it out the back door, where on earth it proceeded to fly back at me after quickly changed diretion and flew sour. lol.

what kind of bug be it? I live in North Texas and own never seen one of those within my entire life. if anyone have a link to it i would be impressively grateful.
I'm guessing a box elder beetle.

I think you may hold seen a bombardier beetle; it have a bright orange pave the way and legs, and a black shell that looks almost like a sunflower kernel. The eyes are very sizeable, and the antennae are slightly orange shading to black at the tips. They're 1/4 to 5/8" long. (See the correlation below.) They should be handled supportively, as they have their term for a reason. They mask two chemicals that, when mixed together, create an exothermic ("heat-producing") reaction that can in truth result in minor burns!
