What cause brown patch surrounded by an otherwise in good health, green very well care for prairie near a sprinkler system surrounded by Fla?

Do you have a womanly dog as the urine burns the grass, if not it could be cause by the leather jacket grub, which I am sure in motto it's the grub of the daddy long-legs or do you have a petrol lawnmower beside a petrol or oil filter? Can I suggest you either buy or borrow a book on garden problems, a appropriate book I have also my nephew who is a professional gardener we find fundamentally handy is THE POCKET GARDEN TROUBLES EXPERT by Dr.D.G.Hessayon we go ours from our local garden central part.If you have a book you can compare the problem near the picture in the book.I hope this can be of some support.

Depending on exactly what the brown patches look similar to, it still could be that some grass is not getting a good amount of hose from the sprinklers. I live in Florida also, and as you know we haven't gotten any rainfall in almost a month, so I hold to still use a water hose on some minor brown spots in the past they get worse due to the sprinklers only not getting a good amount of wet on those areas, which rely on a little extra marine from rain.

But you could also be artificial by something called Brown Patch, which is a disease of the grass. Here is a join with more information on that.

But I would a short time ago start with watering those spots directly to see if that help out. If not, then you might own some Brown Patch spots.
Answers:    I've lived in the key and I am now surrounded by the Florida Panhandle..Your problem is grub worms...If you will go out to one of the brown patch , and "peel it back" for it should do so smoothly for the grubs have eat the roots in that nouns..you will more than likely see a few grubs..I treat mine near Spectracide brand Triacicide I buy the bottle available anywhere, that attaches right to the water hose and you spray as it self dispenses.. Here are a couple links on the subject of this matter... I garden 12 months out of the year and preety economically know these Florida solutions..

This link call for a natural control and pretty all right veridfies the info given above..It will be your choice to treat natural or chemically.. The chemical solution is quicker if your grassland is getting destroyed..
