I have a small tree possibly 5 years old. Its in the order of 6-7 ft. tall. It does not bring back any flowers in the spring. The leaves are heart shaped. A pretty green color. I be told it was a Eastern redbud, but I enjoy my doubts. Can any one help me???
Answers:    If the leaves are small and travel lovely autumn colours you may have a chinese tallow tree, Sapium sebiferum. If ample leaves I would have thought I don`t know a redbud, but there are diffent variety of Cercis and yours may not be the the variety that flowers heavily, my Cercis canadensis Forest Pansy have lovely heart shaped green/purple leaves but you really have to look easier said than done to find flowers,
if it did flower it would be first thing contained by the spring before the leaves come on. without a pic it is tricky to say but near the description you gave I would voice thats what it is. here is a lnk to one http://www.hort.uconn.edu/plants/c/cerca...
