I have a wine barrel Im trying to grow herb and veggies in and a cat dug up my just sprouted baisel and pooped within the hole last night! I be wondering if there is some type of household something I can use to keep the cats away but not shoot my plants!?!?
Answers: You can try moth balls. They don't harm the plants, but cats and dogs down similar to it. The bonus...they won't pee in there again. It also doesn't waste the animal just makes them stay away. Hope that help you as much as it has helped me!
Sure, you can jump out and sprinkle some crushed dried peppers or pepper powder on there for tonight, afterwards get some "cat and dog repellant" granules from the garden shop tomorrow - I use them to stop my little sweetie from ruining every seedling I lovingly grow adjectives spring - he thinks those freshly planted beds be loosened just for his use! LOL
So the granules stop me from strangling that pretty little poop-factory! >D Your local grass and garden store (lowes homedepot ace) all sell granuels that repel domestic animals. If that doesnt work try Fox urine, this might shock you but its not doomed to failure at all. it just fends of adjectives sort of domestics and varmints with the smell that they can smell.
