What can i put surrounded by a compost bin? Apart from the clear peelings and such.? ...
Answers: Grass mowings, annual plants and weeds which enjoy not gone to seed, chipped up wood from prunings, shredded broadsheet (not the glossy type though).
Don't join perennial weeds - chiefly the roots as they will just grow everywhere you eventually use the compost. Don't add weed in kernel as the compost has to attain VERY hot before the seed will be killed.
Whatever you give - layer it so you don't own big blocks of one type of thing and preserve it damp but not soggy!
leaves, grass clipping, any vegetable fritter away, dead flowers, hose, manure to abet the composting
