i have a ton of trees surrounded by my yard. i hold a bunch of bare areas of my patio that i would like to plague with anything!! looks misshapen with dirt patch everywhere. whats a good brand i can try? i tried using scotts (something?) it be a seed mix at walmart. zilch grew. im ready to try something else purely not sure what to buy.
Answers:    What kind of trees do you enjoy in your patio? Oak and pine put offf a lot of tannic acerbic in the ground so zilch usually grows there. If they,re maples or some other type of hardwood go to the nearest plough and ask if you can get some chaff out of the haymow. Chaff is mostly intensely hearty grass pip that is local to the area and grows gooey and fast. Any cultivator will let you lug all you want. Just spew it over the bare nouns and get your mower geared up. It will come in sticky and hardy because it is native to the nouns. Any loose hay that you scrape up next to the chaff, I just cover the core with it to hold it within place.
Any brand will work from any store. The trick is to use grass seeds that tolerate shade. Most stores vend specific grass seeds for shade lawns. The key ingredient will be Red Fescue.
