I want a pretty yard but it is 100 degrees over here - I would preferably similar to to decorate my yard beside NON-TOXIC plants because I have pets and elderly parents.
I live where on earth it is hot and very dry, I have have good luck with these flowers.
Geraniums, Zinnia's, Marigold's, or Dianthus.
Sorry, I put flowers and not plants.
I hold had good luck beside Monkey Grass (that's what we call it) and Hostas.
Cannas, yes I know they are only supposed to grow in moist soil, but at 41 deg c they sit up look well-mannered and flower for months. They look better with regular garden water but if surrounded by drought they just put up with it. Spirea, African daisies, pennisetium rubrum (if you close to coloured grasses), plumbago, and roses. I live in an arid climate temps from -5 to 41 deg C and they grow roses commercially in my nouns. As long as you can provide regular watering. David Austins do particularly well if you approaching a heritage style of rose. You will be amazed once you start looking - I have a full English style garden no problems at all. If you intended edible ones, eggplants. They thrive in hot weather and I deduce there purple color is very lovely. Flower wise, I don't know. But there are so copious new flowers on the market that are made to ultimate without water because of the drought, so you should capture one of those, becuase they'll withstand the heat.
Hope I helped.
