What annuals should I plant this year? My house is light cream next to Burgandy shutters and doors....

My house is light cream next to Burgandy shutters and doors. I want to just do annuals this year. These requirement to go contained by the ground and are in front of our house (west side). What color go well? I love colors but want them to coordinate somehow. What flowers and what colors? Thanks!
My classics which require the lowest care.
Hostas
Irises
Day Lillies
Peonies
Knockout Rose Bushes...pricy, but worth every dime
Will come vertebrae year after year after year...
I agree a rainbow of color would liven up the outside since your house is a neutral color anyway

Geraniums
morning glory (it's a vine)
zinnia
marigold
Answers:    Well. Anything green, mostly foliage, would do very well. Hostas are great! They prefer part or full shade, but the golden variety and some others can tolerate more sun. I love Roses, but you said only annuals - so... Ummm, let's see. Actually, Hostas aren't annuals.but they are still an theory. Poppies are nice, some are annuals. You can get some red zinnias that are similar to a Burgundy shade. Some Snapdragons can come contained by Burgundy.. Carnations..

I think if you are trying to color coordinate, any shades of red and purple would walk with the Burgundy shutters. And you can't move about wrong with neutrals, close to white and green.

=)
Why coordinate when you can create a rainbow?
