I'm 6'8" and weed whipping for me is a pian in the pay for from bending over to get the manager right with the prairie. I work for a lawn company and weed beat for hours on end. Can anyone recommend a solution besides departing the job.

Answers:    Most commercial echelon trimmers have particularly long shafts, what kind of trimmer are you using.

I own found that Echo, Robin, and Stihl have some completely long, straight shaft trimmers.

As for joannes answer, extending the shaft would mean extending the spring drive shaft, not awfully economical.

hint: residential category trimmers turn clockwise, while comm. grade trimmers rotate counter-clockwise.

You involve to find someone (such as Sears repair) to extend the handle for you. It can be done.

Or hold one specially made for you. Try Black and Decker first. I remember seeing one that had an extension for taller individuals.
