We hold a mulberry tree that have produced a ample amount of berries.? I have used what I could but the rest have dropped to...

I have used what I could but the rest have dropped to the ground and are rotting. The results are that it is markedly slippery under the tree and it stinks, raking don't carry them up. What can I do.
Your question brings rear legs childhood memories of sitting in a mulberry tree and eating and drinking. Now to answer your question. You can try spreading some mulch over them and rake it up after they finish dropping. I would assume you have bird pooh also because birds love mulberries. Had several, they are outstandingly messy. Not too much you can do, atleast they don't lay there long, they will wash into the soil.

aw, watch the drunken birds and squirrels and smile.. let some time step by and they'll complete the decomp and be gone, back into the soil where they'll nurture the roots of the tree they came from, giving back what animation it took to make them in the setting up... I like the idea of spreading something, but not peat... conceivably some compost?... over the area to 'hide' it for the time being... no, that's gonna bring in the tree HEALTHIER!... more berries next year!!.. oh, dear!.

there's just the open. if you don't like the tree's mess, be rid of it and quitcherbitchin.
Answers:    All we could do is spread some peat over them, and them with the leaf rake after they stopped falling.

I don't even want to mention what our coup¨¦ looks like after the birds have eat them.
