Virtual Villagers 3: My tree and the bee hive are abandon, how do I carry food spur-of-the-moment it's running out? I've already used the Tribal Chief thing.

Answers:    Your best best is to get the alchemy lab restored and trademark the potion for the sharks so that you can fish. To restore the lab, gather the four pots/bowls and spear head near an adept scientist. Then, you'll have to choose a faction within the Tech menu b/c you need level 2 of a alliance to make the special herb appear that you need for the shark potion (it will be a berry plant if you choose the Magic union and a pitcher plant if you choose Nature). Choosing the nature faction is supposed to take home the food replenish fasher, but it still seemed to take forever after I purchased it. Once you enjoy level 2 of your faction, you are prepared to make the potion, so have a villager collect 2 roses and a berry if you chose the Magic party or 2 black orchids and a pitcher plant for Nature. Once the three herbs are on the round table, drop a villager on the table to start making the potion. When it is ready (if it blows up, only just try it again. lab accidents happen sometimes until you enjoy purchased alchemy tech), drop a villager on the cauldron and a pot will appear in his hands and he will whip it to the ocean. You may need to enjoy several villagers take some for it to work.
If you don't have satisfactory tech to purchase level 2 faction, however, with level 2 restoration, you can hold three adept builders fix the lift under the big tree. Then, when it rain, put a villager on the lift and he will go up and raze a piece of fruit to plant for another tree (you can have 3 trees total). It will take hours for the modern tree to grow, however, so be prepared. Once you have your trees plants, each piece of fruit to be precise dropped that you villagers collect is worth 4 food. Not a lot, but if you are desperate...
It takes forever for the bee hive to replenish, so don't count on it too much. I in actual fact had to rely solely on the kids picking mushrooms for a while until I had satisfactory tech points to get the means for more food. Fortunately, they seem to appear more when my food was lower. Red mushrooms are better b/c they give more food than the brown ones.
If you haven't grown a tree but and the hive is empty, I can only suggest you save an eye out for mushrooms, get a kid to pick them (they're only on eyeshade a short time) and keep doing it until you have a fighting fit reserve.

I could tell you more but I don't want to spoil the game for you.
