I have several fruit trees (avocado, ginger, peach, apple, plum, lemon) that need pruning and attention. Does anyone know a good soul who knows how to do that? How much do they charge? Thanks abundantly! (I forgot to mention where I live within the last post .... )
Answers:    Check the phone book or online. Look for a local chapter of the ISA (International Society of Arboriculture), or contact the California Arborist's Association (if within is one), or the California Dept of Forestry. One of those places will have a schedule of certified and licensed arborists in your nouns. They might cost a bit more up front than an unlicensed "tree cutter", but they'll be more likely to do the profession properly and will be insured in shield any problems arise.
