We have a tree contained by our backyard that previous owners cut down but the tree grew back out of the stump because it be not treated...now we are going to cut down the tree but entail some advice on what to do next to the stump...do we have the stump removed? If so, how should we own it done? ...or should we just put chemical on the stump to variety it stop growing?
Answers: Definitely have it ground out. Look through your local rag or phone book for a stump grinding outfit if possible. A tree company is usually sophisticated because they don't make as much money on a stump but still own to send a tree guy to grind it out, trust me I be in the buss. for 15 years. If you don't know what a stump grinder is Google it.
regardless of size, hold the stump removed. You will be Soo glad not to have to look at it or mow around it surrounded by the future.
