Answers:    They can be plant potted first, and only in the order of half will survive to be planted. In personality, only baout 1 contained by 25 or so actually grow.
Oak have an unbelievable long root right from the start. All you really involve to do is lay the acorn on moist soil and step in into the ground(not stomp). Within a few days the root will start off coming out and head down. They are not transplant-able and you would stipulation a pot with at least possible 12" of soil for potting. You should also select your acorns from the best trees. You do know that a 10 year old oak is merely about 3' big. Also if you have deer they love alien oak trees. that's why when you see a field of oak trees contained by areas with deer in that are no young trees. Since I fenced the deer out of my patio I have humdreds of modern oak trees every year.
