They are still green, but look a little wilty. Are they unmoving, dying, need something??
It have been a touch chilly, not freezing, and a little raining. Too much water, not plenty? I have never have trouble with growing tomatoes formerly. I have 6 different type, so it can't be a "type" problem.
Answers: tomatoes need roast, both in the soil and contained by the air. You mentioned it's be chilly...there you budge. Tomatoes are tropical. So hold back on the hose since the plants aren't actively using it.
The size of your pot/ and condition/or compaction of your soil can be a determining factor in plant growth.this go for all plants! Your roots call for time to grow to their environment. Since your plants are recently planted you can purchase a product call OSMOCOTE (about $6.00 at Wal-Mart), and spinkle this smart release plant food around the top of your soil and then marine to activate. This should facilitate the plant become stronger and the root system to establish itself. Always water resourcefully in the morning. Also ask yourself if you are re-planting your tomatoes within the same spot year after year. They requirement to be rotated to a different spot every two years. Hope this helps! Happy Spring!
