Answers:    You are experiencing "tomato rot" which often times comes roughly speaking from irregular watering. You may be letting the soil dry out too much then over watering. Keep in mind that containers are above ground and are more susceptible to evaporation.

One glib solution is to bring your pots together in one area and near a 5 gal bucket of water, put a cotton rope 1/2" dia. or even a wide strip of a outmoded cotton T Shirt in the bucket of water and the other back about 8" into the soil with the plants. The sea will wick over into the soil as needed and will not over water, just hold on to an eye on the water bucket because it can go in a hurry with multiple containers.

Once new fruits starts, the spotting will not appear on unsullied tomato's.
Good question. Blossom end rot is a tomato nutritional fewer and it sounds like that is the pesky problem your tomatoes are experiencing. Basically the tomatoes are hungry and want to be feed. Feed them and they will return the favor! ;-]

Use a mixture of beer and powdered milk.
Try this:
1 bottle or can of beer (no specific brand)
1 cup of dry powdered milk

Put it in a sprayer (like a 2 gallon garden sprayer) ...fill the rest of the channel up with water and next spray them early in the morning or deferred in the evening with this mixture. I usually do it once or twice a week.

Sounds strange, but I swear it works! I don't hold problems since I've adopted this remedy. It's FANTASTIC!
:-] Tomatoes LOVE calcium and need like mad of it. The milk provides this essential nutrient to them and prevents the blossom end rot. The hops in the beer help prevent plant viruses and pesky insects from infecting/bothering your plants. It's like an life multi-vitamin for your tomatoes.

Hope this helps! Good luck with your tomatoes! :-]
