Answers: My ancestral has planted veggie gardens for generation. Plant large mixed bag Marigolds along with your veggies, aphids and other insects tend to stay away from them, they don't approaching them, so they make a worthy plant to help preserve bugs from destroying your hard work!
And don't forget to "sucker" your tomatoes! (that's an antediluvian term where on earth I'm from) it means to filch off the little branch that grow between the main stem and the branches, this bearing the plants energy can be directed toward making tomatoes, not producing clean little stems and leaves.
The most important article is to just wallow in doing it. do not try to overdo it or it will become a chore to be dreaded. Don't try to learn everything contained by one year, and also do not get discouraged if some thngs do not work out or grow right. It is a erudition process. And ALWAYS remember to put only one Petunia plant within your onion bed.
