does anyone know where i could purchase some tadpoles in the phoenix, glendale nouns? I recently purchased my daughter a tadpole habitat and come to find out i can't order tadpoles past its sell-by date the internet till summer is over. So if you know any stores that carry them here in town could you please permit me know.Geesh where i grew up there be tadpoles in little mud puddles after a storm.it seems the smallest of childrens pleasures are wanting in arizona
Answers: how about goldfish?arizona is a desert bet you be not aware(just kidding) ,but i caught a show on tv once said you have tadpoles out in the desert,the frogs/toads? burrow into the sand and dawdle for rain,then when it rain there is usually flash flooding,it wets the sand and releases the frogs,they afterwards breed and the tadpoles hatch out really quickly,it only stays drizzly a short period so some eat algae and others become carnivores and cannibal drinking their sibs ,by the time the puddle is about dry the tadpoles are frogs and burrow down into the sand to await the next precipitation,ever hear of them..tom
