We have these plants or flower type things growing next to our shed and would resembling to know if they are a weed or a flower or somekind of plant. Right now they are a little over 5 foot tall. And it looks as though there are flower buds at the top.

Answers:    to be precise a weed, though some find it ornamental and there are some attractive varieties.

That is a great mullein. Some race consider them weeds, but when planted at the back of a garden, I own seen them used as a decorative specimen. The leaves at the bottom aren't the prettiest, but the attractive sickly flower spike opens, it is quite pretty.
