Bless their little hearts...ARGH!
I hold a squirrel problem. They are chewing up my garden, they have kill, chewed and uprooted flowers and vegetables. I have tried scent and I ponder they actually similar to it...
So the wife and i are down to two ideas;
Completely hold the beds next to chicken wire.
Set out big bowls of nuts and seed and water within hopes they leave the crops and flowers alone.
Both of the above.
Which have worked best for you?

Answers:    We have at tiniest 12 squirrels that hang out at our porch, and we are landscapers. We have have good luck beside Deer-Off, but you have to re-apply it DAILY.

We've also placed sunflower seed about 50' away, and that have kept them away, but you have to be diligent (and enjoy the budget) to keep up next to feeding them...not the best long-term solution.

If you don't mind the look, jump with the chicken flex, just install it safe and sound.

The best method of squirrel control is using the Kania Trap 2000. No re-locating and does the job humanely and against the clock. Best placed on a tree 5-7 feet above the ground. Or surrounded by attics away from non targets. Best bait is peanut butter or nuts contained by their shells
