I bought pepper plants recently and they looked healthy. A few days following they had little, yellowish squiggles in some of the leaves. I didn't know what the squiggles be so I removed the leaves that had the squiggles. The peppers appear fine immediately.
As I was watering my plants today I noticed near were the same squiggles within my sunflowers.
What are those squiggles and are they contagious?
It's true, they're leaf miners!
Good question! I just lately bought 2 tomato plants. And 2 of the leaves have White Squigly lines on them.
One thing i do know. is that plants can gain Yellow blotches or lines on them if they are Nitrogen lacking, or nutrient lacking. The leaves usually do not turn support to green after this. But the leave can still be healthy. It's feasible just the plants way of showing you, that it desires something else.
Hope this helps.
Answers: Leaf miners! They're insects, and picking off leaves is a good control system.
