Something is chomping my peas.back!? ,,, They were 5-6 inches lofty, but are being eat before...
,,, They were 5-6 inches lofty, but are being eat before my eyes. It appears to be a lawfully straight edge on the eat leaves.
They are actually surrounded by my young sons veggie patch, so want to release them if I can.
Any ideas, please? Prefer not to use insecticide if I can support it.
Answers: My Husband had this problem ending year..and he found it was mice, he put mouse traps down and caught dozens. Also it could be slugs, we don't approaching useing slug pellets but we have to, or we would have lost the lot !! moral luck
it sounds like rabbits to me. They do a number on my hostas. And the one year I grew peas, they ate them adjectives the day I be going out to harvest them for dinner! oh ably, you can get a spray rabbit repellent that supposedly works. I haven't tried it myself but it might be worth looking into. I also read on a blog somewhere this guy made his own repellent out of jalapeno pepper. good luck
