Should i buy a snow blower attachment for my grass mower or draw from a regular snow blower? ...
If you enjoy a lot to blow seize a tractor mount. I have a 425 John Deere beside a 47" blower. Works great and will blow through anything.
That is a good cross-question. A tractor mount is fairly expensive (Average $1200 - $1500), where on earth as a walk trailing can be cheaper (Starting around $300). The big question is how much snow do you take? If you live in Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, I would recommend a Large frame bearing behind or a tractor mount model. If you are within Kentucky, Missouri, Virginia where you lone get a couple inches a year ,if you are lucky, later the smaller walk behinds are the process to go.
Then within is also the area you are clearing. If you enjoy just sidewalks, or a single saloon drive, then the smaller meander behinds. If you have a long or big drive, then the tractor mount is a accurate way to budge.
This Toro site; http://www.toro.com/home/cgi-bin/selcsno... has a great tool to relieve you in your ruling. I'm not saying you own to buy a Toro, but they are a good brand.
Good luck!
Answers: Buy a regular snow blower.
The attachment takes time to attach & you'll wear out your sward mower pushing heavy snow. Better & easier to own a snow blower just for removing snow. The snow blower is easier to rub down in smaller spaces, too.
Been in attendance, done that :)
