If i was to pump filtered the deep water into a lake/large pond, would that be ok? or would there be a funky smell or something of that sort?
Where can I obtain a garden umbrella next...
Answers:    it would not stay brackish water as the rain would dilute it and it would leach into the soil. I would stay away from that perception completely.
How much sand do i stipulation?
I don't think it would smell but the salt contained by the water could ruin the soil surrounding the pond killing plant vivacity and the salty water could infiltrate a fresh hose down supply.
