"Memorial" year round plant/flower? I'm wanting to plant something in honor and memory of a baby...
I'm wanting to plant something in honor and memory of a baby my sister of late miscarried. I know nothing about planting flowers but it be suggested to me to help her and I think it's a well-mannered idea. My question is, what would be a apposite plant for this. I'm wanting something that will definitely come back year after year, close to some of those bushes that produce flowers. I'll be planting it in my parents yard. Not really wanting a tree or anything too big. Any suggestions?
Answers: Rose bushes are well-mannered,wherever you live. Some have severely apt names.
Bulbs can be planted soon to flower next spring and increase respectively year.
For an edging, try gypsophillia "Baby's breath".Forget me not is a nice rememberance plant,it will seed itself and keep on indefinitely.
Good of you to try and help out, mysympathies.
A spring flowering shrub. Or one that will bloom this time of year, in your area.
