I have a several cabbage plants in my veggie garden. In the recent past couple days I have noticed holes within the leaves. I havent seeen any pest on the plant itself and I cant find anything in my book about it. I live surrounded by south east Michigan, dose anyone know what is happening to my plants and if so what do I do to stop it? Thanks so much!
you should go to your garden middle and get the right treatment for it

You probably have cabbage lopper's, a worm that eats cabbage leaves. One of the best ways to control it is next to Bacillus theragensis,(spelling is wrong) also known as Bt. Your nursery will know what it is. Harmless to humans but deadly to loppers. If you are into butterflies, use sparingly. It will slay all butterfly caterpillars. I had alike problem, I used insecticidal wax and it stopped any further damage to my harvest. The bottle claims it so not dangerous that you can use it the same day you pick and eat.
Answers: Take a close look underneath some of the leaves. You may have cabbage worms. They are green and really concrete to spot sometimes so look really good. These are the result of eggs that were laid by little white moths that you may hold see fluttering around.
