A few weeks ago I was walking down the street and in attendance were a couple houses I walk past that have "pesticide in use" signs up. When I walk the same nouns the next hours of daylight the signs were gone. Does anyone know why this happen? I wish I could ask the citizens who lived in the houses, but I'm too shy.
Answers: Many states require professional pasture and landscape companies to post "flags" surrounded by lawns they have treated. Many communities hold written into their bylaws that the homeowner must also post these flags if they apply their own pesticides. They are simply a reminder that a fertilizer/pesticide application has be made. And, yes, some people post them to maintain dogs from crapping in their lawns.
Yes, the signs are in that to keep ancestors from having their dogs poop on their yard. They have probably have a lawn treatment that light of day, but the signs are otherwise no necessary.
