how many fertilizations are usually needed for plants contained by beds and when is the best time to do this? and which NPK ratio is the best to use at which times?
also same put somebody through the mill for lawn fertilization.

Answers: after last freeze of year...(april 15th here).....not after it is too hot.....(July here).........I other used Miracle Grow on plants and flowers......16/8/8 golf course fertilizer from Grass Pad with excellent result and no burn (once surrounded by spring and once in rash fall) with "Snowman" for root groth surrounded by winter.....
Ideally, you should get a soil experiment done first to see what nutrients the soil requires. Then you need to consider the plants; some plants prefer the soil not to be too fertile. Wait until the weather is somewhat warmer (I use March 17), because, if you put out fertiliser too untimely, you can cause disease. Then apply it every 8 weeks, but you will own to cut the grass much more often. Something similar to 10:10:20 is a good broad purpose fertiliser at a rate of about 50kg/hectare. If near is moss in your prairie, you should apply some Sulphate of iron or lawn sand, and rake it out vigourously after a few days when it have gone black.
