The planter is about 4 foot long, 1 foot deep, and foot and a partially wide. The soil be prepared with 6 heap scoop fulls of stimulant, 6 heaping scoop of garden soil, and i think 3 heap scoops of planting soil. Against my better judgement my mother planted 3 plants within them, and now the green leafy plants are yellowing and the other plants are wilting. I want to try and collect the plants if possible, but human being a total gardening noob I'm not sure how to go in the region of that. The soil mixture was rather well mixed, and i have a sneaking suspicion that she's been doing a soft plant feed too.
Was it too much mess? Too many plants? And is at hand anything i can do?
Answers: Sounds like too much food----if your droppings was ably composted, it wouldn't cause problems on it's own. But the decoration of plant food was too much. Water all right to help remove excess fertilizer and replant. It is unlikely that you will know how to save plants near burned roots.
the manure shouldn't be the problem if it be well rotted compost about 1 year older, otherwise it would burn the plants. I've grown tomato plants in pure in good health rotted manure next to great results. What kind of plants? and are they watered?
