uncovered pool and it was green. used chemicals recommended by pool place and it turned a cloudy blue. some users on here recommended I use flocculent , I did that this weekend and vacumed it out. There is still alot of white crap settling on the bottom of the pool. How abundant times should I have to vacum it in the past it's ready to swim? Should I procure another bottle of flocculent if it doesn't clear up?
Answers:    Hi Blondie,
I am sorry to have to give an account you that you will have to work to carry that pool clean.
Firstly beforehand you do anything get the pH correct in general it should be between 7.2~7.6 when you have a problem win it down to 7 or a little below and and 'super chlorinate' lift up the chlorine level to 10ppm and run the system for a few hours to achieve it mixed then hand down for 24 hours the Algae should turn brown and sink to the bottom.
When it's on the bottom vacuum it to waste.
Check the pH and chlorine ensure the pH is not above 7.6, put contained by some floccullent then vacuum the residue to squander again after 36 hours.

For me the easiest thing would hold been to enjoy a saltwater system installed, then you could hold run the system an hour a day and adjectives would have be clean and geared up to swim in.
Regards,
Dave
