My new pond is pea green..
Anybody used the product Viresco aqua ?
Supposed to clear algae but will it put to death off the oxgenaters as all right?
Answers:    New ponds take a while to settle down, whilst the fluent bacteria build up to provide a suspended system.

Algae needs sunlight and nutrients within order to grow, so in attendance may be some dissolved nutrients that are in the winter, adjectives when a new pond have been built. Algae destroyers are fine, and don't verbs other plants that are growing. Viresco aqua removes nitrates from the water, and thus starves the algae of nutrients needed to grow, as economically as has enzymes that break down decaying business in the dampen - all fitting stuff for a pond, that will help clear the dampen. If you have plants growing, such as your oxygenators, after if they are growing from some bottom soil, they should still get the nutrients that they stipulation.

If you get long really meagre green filaments, this is certain as blanket weed, another type of algae - again this should be knocked stern by your treatment. Otherwise, extract of barley straw, a liquid chemical addition, is safe for adjectives other natural time, but destroys the blanket weed.

Hope this helps. Good luck! Rob
