Hi, I am in Las Vegas, NV and I would resembling to plant some grass sod. Should I wait till winter warm up a bit or would it be ok to plant them now?

Answers:    hi , im surrounded by Mississippi, we plant sod year round, it is dormant in the winter, which vehicle it s not growing, so cold weather doesnt harm it, st augustine and bermuda and centipede are types that we plant the most, if your sward and garden centers are selling your type of grass right now, it s ok to lay the sod on the grass, even though the roots are not gowing , it does not hurt to water bout once a week, winter weather can dry out things simply as fast as hot weather surrounded by the summer
