I have an outdoor schefflera plant specifically appx. 9' wide and at lowest possible 6' tall. My question is, two branches of this huge plant are growing berries of some kind. They (the berries) started out green next turned as orange as a pumpkin, later a bright red now turning black. These berries are one and only on two branches. What are they? And what do I do with them? Good for planting? Thanks for any aid.
Answers:    They are the seeds that the shefflera plant make when it is mature adequate to reproduce, if you wanna plant these seeds only soak them in verbs water for 24 hours this will tender moisture to the seeds and later plant them in rich soil because the shefflera loves soil to be exact high contained by nutrients and keep the pot within a sunny window and hose the seeds near lick warm hose down, and in my experience they will germinate within about 2-4 weeks after planted. I hope this help.
Fruit of schefflera is what they are. You can plant the seeds if you want.
