Plant I.D. minister to needed please.? I have what appears to be a vine, dark green spade shaped...

I have what appears to be a vine, dark green spade shaped leaves, beside some sort of pod like thing coming from the vine, in the region of 3 inches long, slender. No flowers that I can see.
Can anyone tell me where I may find out how to Identify this plant, or conceivably you can tell by this description.
I have found little when I google ivy or vines. Thanks.
