My peach trees are getting big brown spots on the fruit do I need to spray them with something??
Answers:    Quick. Call your county extension bureau and check with them. You may be able to reclaim the crop. If it's happening to you it's happening to others surrounded by your area. The extension service will be able to dispense you a prompt and reliable answer.
Peach trees typically have to be sprayed in winter within order to produce nice clean fruit. Fruit trees contained by general are succeptible to lots of insect and disease problems. It could even be weather related; that's why I recommended the Ext. Office. The symptoms vary from assortment to variety as well as from place to place and weather variables are a big factor. Big elegant peaches take a little work and the Ext Office can contribute you a brochure with all the details. You may even know how to download the brochures online; you can in our state.
Good luck. (I love summer peaches!)
